Conferences & Events
DECA has a number of conferences, each with a different focus, that are offered to students every year. Some take place within New Hampshire, and some are out of state in cities such as Orlando, Washington D.C., New York, Anaheim, and Nashville.

This two and a half day conference is offered in November every year, and it is focused on all the chapters of the North East and South East sections of the United States. It provides business key note speakers, career-track workshops and activities, and practice marketing tests and case study sessions. It is presented every other year in Washington D.C., and alternates between such cities as Boston, Philadelphia, and even Austin, Texas, in non-D.C. years. The 2017 Power Trip will be in Philadelphia, on November 10-12, 2017.Learn More
State Career Development Conference
Held every February, this three day conference is one of the high points of the DECA year. Over 400 students compete in over 35 different marketing, management, finance, hospitality, and entrepreneurship oriented categories. They utilize skills they have learned and developed in their DECA programs and business classes, doing business presentations, tests, and case study analysis with judges who are business professionals or college staff in the local community. Students who win in these events are eligible to attend the DECA International Career Development Conference in April. In 2018, the State Conference will be February 14-16.Learn More
International Career Development Conference
This is the capstone DECA event of the year, with students from all 50 states and Canada, Mexico, China, and Germany participating. Students participate in the same types of competitive events that were held in their state level competition, but with higher levels of difficulty. Also, students who did not win on the state level are eligible by merit to attend special Leadership Academies that DECA offers. In 2018, the ICDC will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, from the 21st through the 24th of April.Learn More
